What happens to the details you send us through this website.
Who we are
We're DW Plumbing and Heating in St Neots, Cambridgeshire (Dean Western, sole trader). If you have a question about your details, email us at dwplumbing@mail.com.
What we collect
When you ask for a quote, we collect what you type into the form: the type of job, your name, your phone number and your postcode. If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we'll also have the details you give us there.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, do the job. Our legal basis is taking the steps you've asked for before a contract, then carrying out the contract if you go ahead. We also have a legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
Who else sees it
The form is sent to us by email through Resend, an email service, which handles your details only to deliver the email and keeps delivery records in line with its privacy policy. JTandy, who looks after this website, also gets a copy of form enquiries until January 2027, to check the form is working properly. This website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses, to run the site securely. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by email, your messages are also held by those services. Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. We don't sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead, we keep your enquiry details for 4 weeks. If you become a customer, we keep job records for as long as HMRC requires for tax purposes.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies, and it doesn't track you for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, or object to how we use them. Email us at dwplumbing@mail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
